Mon Bébé Perfume – scented water for babies

I always thought the stage where the bambino would nick my perfume, raid my cosmetics bag, and help herself to my clothes was a few years off, but alas, the curious, light-fingered tot keeps handling my stuff, and she is particularly drawn to perfume bottles (and lip gloss...). So when I received a bottle of Mon Bébé perfume, a scented water that contains natural extracts to promote sleep and well-being, my cosmetics heaved a sigh of relief!
Made in France where the baby perfume market is pretty big (well babies come out of the womb chic over there...), it's hypoallergenic, alcohol-free, and has been dermatologically and clinically tested so it's suitable from birth.
The scent is delicate, fresh, and a little musky and can be used on either sex. It's a combination of vanilla, with notes of chamomile, mandarin, and natural plant extracts like hawthorn, lime-tree, and centauree which are associated with promoting peaceful sleep, relieving anxiety, and soothing tummy-aches.
The bambino helped put a little on her wrists this morning and then we pretended to be French where I sprayed the perfume and she stepped into it, so her Smafolk dress had a subtle, baby-ish smell as she wafted around. You can also spray a hairbrush to lightly scent their hair.
Mon Bébé perfume comes in a drop shaped bottle and you can actually see little particles of the plant extracts which disappear when you shake it. Available from Boutique to You for £24.99, I imagine that these are going to become a popular gift choice.

Lovely packaging and looks like it would be a nice gift it looks really nice, really pleasing colours really liked packaging and it would be a lovely gift to give someone. good quality! Not sure about the idea of perfume, however I like the idea of a spray for a baby which helps settle them. I feel this would be a perfect present to be given to a mum at the birth of a new baby. This is something slightly different which makes a nice change from buying baby grows! Like all sprays and perfumes you choose one you like and the aroma of this will appeal to people who like the ingredients. The packaging, idea and bottle are gorgeous and it would make a really special gift for a new born that's different from the thousands of baby grows! First impression very cute bottle and checked out the website which was informative and easy to navigate. The packaging is well designed and looks lovely. Have never heard of baby perfume before and it is a lovely idea. Just the right amount – not too heavy especially as the baby will be breathing in the scent. I would buy this as it is especially made for babies and I always buy perfume for myself so it is nice they have one for babies, and I like my son smelling good. This would also be great idea for a gift as loved the bottle design and the fragrance. On Mon Bébé website it states that this is a unique fragrance that will make baby feel fresh and relaxed. It also states this contains natural plant extracts such as hawthorn, lime-tree and centauree, which have been traditionally used to favour peaceful sleep and relieve anxiety and sooth baby's tummy aches. After using this for a few weeks I can say I totally agree with this statement. This perfume has a lovely light hint of fragrance so not too heavy and we loved it. I have never seen anything like this before and now we have reviewed this item would certainly consider purchasing more. A glorious product and would make a perfect gift for any new mum.
